Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 level Tbsp. flour
    cinnamon or nutmeg to taste
    pinch of salt
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs
    well
    in
    large
    bowl
    or
    2-quart measuring pitcher, with
    a
    pouring
    spout.
    (This
    is
    important.)
    Mix sugar, flour and
    salt together and add to eggs.
    Add milk and vanilla.
    Place
    pie
    shell
    on
    oven
    rack
    before pouring in custard.
    (This will fill a 9 or 10-inch pie shell too full to transfer from counter to oven.) Sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon on top.
    Bake at
    375\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour until knife comes out clean from center.
