Clams Casino - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 doz. steam clams
    1 lb. bacon
    1 small jar pimento
    1 small onion
    1 small green pepper
    lemon juice
    Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Steam clams.
    Remove clams from shell, then put in 1/2 of shell loose.
    Brown bacon; drain and crumble when cool.
    Chop pimento, onion and green pepper.
    Add bacon to this.
    Put 1 drop of lemon juice and 1 drop of Tabasco sauce on each clam.
    Top each clam with bacon/vegetable mixture.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Serve with lemon wedges.
