Griddle Cakes With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    200 grams apples, chopped (about 1 1/3 c.)
    15 grams yeast
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. jam or honey
Preparation
    Sift flour into bowl.
    Add dissolved yeast in warm milk.
    Mix one egg, sugar and a pinch of salt.
    Cover; let stand in warm place to rise.
    Mix in pared and diced apples.
    Allow to rise until double in bulk.
    Drop batter by spoonfuls on a hot griddle or pan and fry both sides to a nice brown.
    When serving, spread with jam or honey.
