Johnny Appleseed Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    8 medium apples, peeled and sliced
    1 c. sugar
    3 level tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Melt margarine in 9-inch Pyrex dish.
    Cook apples until done in water and sugar.
    Pour this cooked mixture into margarine; distribute evenly over bottom of dish.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
