Jelly Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. water
    pinch of salt
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Beat sugar and eggs until light and lemon colored.
    Add water and mix.
    Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together; mix thoroughly.
    Add the vanilla and finish mixing.
    Pour into a 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan that has been greased and lined with waxed paper or foil which has also been greased.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven until the roll springs back when touched lightly, about 15 minutes.
    When done, turn out on a paper towel sprinkled with powdered sugar.
    Roll up and let cool.
    When cooled, unroll and spread with your favorite jam or jelly, lemon pie filling or a pudding.
    Roll up carefully and refrigerate until ready to use. Sprinkle with more powdered sugar, if desired.
