Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramel squares
    3/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. pecans, broken in pieces
    1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed, including greasing and flouring 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour 1/2 of prepared cake mix in the pan.
    Cook 15 minutes in preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
