Italian Sausage With Green Peppers And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Italian sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
    4 large bell peppers, cut in 2-inch squares
    4 medium onions, cut in fourths
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. crushed basil
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 small can tomato sauce
    2 cans whole tomatoes
    1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Saute sausage in 2 tablespoons olive oil for about 15 minutes. Add onions, peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce and all seasonings. Mix cornstarch with a little water to make paste.
    Add to sauce. Cook mixture until sausage, peppers and onions are cooked.
    Serve with buttered noodles.
