Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sugar
4 egg whites
1 c. water
1 c. Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. red hots
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Boil sugar and water until there is a crackling sound in water.
Slowly pour into stiffly beaten egg whites.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Beat until it holds in peaks.
Pour onto a buttered platter.
