Scalloped Potatoes And Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes, sliced thin (4 medium size)
    1 large onion, sliced
    4 pork chops, lightly browned
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt margarine in a small, heavy-bottom saucepan.
    Stir in flour and cook for a few minutes, until golden. Add milk and stir with wire whisk until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.
    Pour a small amount of the sauce into the bottom of a greased 2-quart casserole.
    Layer potatoes, onion and white sauce in casserole.
    Place pork chops on top of potato mixture.
    Cover and bake for about 1 1/4 hours.
    Remove cover and bake 15 minutes more or until potatoes are tender.
    Serves 4.
