Paradise Cran-Apple Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
    1/4 c. water
    8 c. apples, peeled and sliced
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    In covered saucepan, simmer cranberries in water for 20 minutes or until tender. Press through a sieve or cheesecloth. Return to saucepan. Add apples; cover and simmer 35 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender but firm. Add sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking. Serve hot or cold.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
