Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 oz. red food coloring
2 tsp. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Mix coloring and cocoa together.
Add to creamed mixture.
Add salt to buttermilk and add alternately with flour.
Add vanilla and soda.
Beat 2 or 3 minutes until well blended.
Bake in 3 (8-inch) pans, that have been greased and floured, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
