Chocolate Chip Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

2 rolls Pillsbury cut and bake chocolate chip cookies
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. (or less) sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation

Freeze the cookie dough until firm (about 1 hour). Cut one roll of cookie dough into 24 slices and lay them in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix the softened cream cheese, vanilla, sugar and eggs together, then pour this mixture over the cookies in the pan. Cut the other roll of cookie dough into 24 slices and lay these on top of the mixture in the pan.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0 until cookie mixture is set and brown.
It puffs up and flattens after it has cooled.
Cut into squares.
