Creamy Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

1 9 inch pie crust baked
3 1 oz. sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 14 oz. can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. whipping cream (1/2 pt.) whipped
Preparation

In sauce pan, over medium heat, melt chocolate with salt and Eagle Brand.
Cook and stir until thick and fudgy (approximately 5 to 8 minutes); add water, cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils.
Remove from heat, add vanilla; let cool for 15 minutes. Chill 20 to 30 minutes, stir; folding in whipped cream.
Pour mixture into pie shell and chill three hours.
Garnish as desired.
