Sausage Gravy - cooking recipe

3 lb. Italian sausage
flour
milk
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Heat oil in pan. Brown sausage, cooking thoroughly. Remove sausage from pan. Leave oil in pan and turn heat down. Add flour to oil until oil turns to a paste. Brown for 1 minute. Add milk gradually until paste turns to liquid, stirring constantly. Allow to thicken. Add more milk; continue allowing gravy to thicken. Add milk to desired texture. Stir constantly while cooking. Add spices. Goes great with homemade biscuits.
