Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 to 25 whole cucumbers (medium)
    8 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice
    4 c. vinegar
    5 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, pickling spice, vinegar and salt.
    Put cucumbers in jar and pour boiling water over them.
    Let stand 24 hours.
    Repeat 3 other times, draining and pouring boiling water over cucumbers each day.
    On day 5, drain and let stand 48 hours.
    Bring to boil and seal in jars.
