Freezer Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 large tomatoes, washed and cored
    4 large onions, chopped (4 c.)
    4 large carrots, shredded
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut tomatoes into chunks.
    Mix all ingredients in large kettle.
    Bring slowly to boiling, stirring often.
    Lower heat; simmer 30 minutes or until mixture thickens.
    Cool slightly, then measure 3 cups at a time into blender.
    Cover and blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
    Pour into Ziploc freezer bags.
    Makes 16 cups.
    Freeze.
    Good for soups and chili.
