Chicken Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. salt pork, chopped fine
    3 medium onions, chopped
    4 medium potatoes, cubed
    1 qt. water
    4 lb. chicken, cooked and chopped fine
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 c. diced celery
    1/4 tsp. saffron
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 qt. milk
    1 stick butter
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
Preparation
    Fry pork until crisp.
    Add onions and cook until brown.
    Add potatoes, celery, water and bouillon cubes.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
    Stir in milk, butter, salt and pepper to taste.
    Add chicken; heat until hot.
    When ready to serve, stir in chopped eggs.
    Reheating improves flavor.
    (Can add a little thickening.)
