Brown Sugar Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    F. G. salt
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place sugar, salt and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes (the cover prevents crystals from forming around the edges of pan).
    Remove from the heat and add vanilla.
    Store in a covered glass jar in a cool place.
    Makes 1 cup of syrup.
