Zesty Butter Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 loaf French or Italian bread (approximately 10 x 14-inch)
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. chervil
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Cut bread in half lengthwise.
Then cut each piece lengthwise to make 3 wedges (total of 6 wedges).
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend well.
Spread butter on cut surfaces of bread wedges.
Bake on ungreased 15 x 10-inch baking sheet near center of 425\u00b0 oven for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
Yield: 6 (10-inch) sticks.
