Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage (large leaves)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 clove garlic (if desired)
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Mix meat, uncooked rice, onion, garlic, salt and pepper together with 3 tablespoons of tomatoes out of the can.
    Steam cabbage leaves until wilted enough to roll.
    Then roll meat mixture into small patties inside the cabbage leaves and pin with toothpicks.
    Place in heavy covered skillet or pot and pour remaining tomatoes over the cabbage rolls.
    Steam for about an hour.
