Frozen Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. hot water
    46 oz. pineapple juice
    12 oz. frozen orange juice and 1 c. water
    5 large bananas, blended until smooth
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Melt sugar in water.
    Add all other ingredients (except ginger ale).
    Freeze in 2 1/2-gallon containers.
    Remove from freezer 3 hours before serving.
    When slushy, pour ginger ale over and serve.
