Eggplant Casserole Ii - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. dry bread or cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Pare eggplant and cut into 1-inch cubes.
    Cook in boiling, salted water until just tender.
    Drain and cool.
    In a small pan, saute onion and butter until golden brown.
