Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. vinegar

Preparation

Cream sugar and Crisco; add eggs and beat.
Sift together cake flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Add with buttermilk. Add in flavorings and vinegar last.
Pour batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
Check for doneness.
