Crock-Pot Barbecue Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. spareribs
    salt and pepper
    1 onion
    1 (16 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper.
    Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat. Slice ribs into serving size pieces and put in crock-pot.
    Add onion.
    Pour in barbecue sauce.
    Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours (high 3 to 4 hours).
