Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 stick butter or margarine
    3/4 c. milk
    1 can drained sliced peaches (or any fruit)
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
    Melt butter in small saucepan.
    Pour milk into dry ingredients, then add melted butter.
    Blend thoroughly and pour into a shallow baking dish.
    Place peaches on top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven about 40 minutes. Serves six.
