Grandmother'S Raised Rolls(Never Fail And Easy) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
3 c. flour
Preparation

Combine shortening and boiling water, letting it melt while cutting it up.
Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to shortening mixture when it has cooled down to warm.
Add remaining ingredients and knead for 5 minutes, using enough flour so it will no longer be sticky.
Roll out and cut into 20 to 24 dinner rolls or spread with butter, cinnamon and sugar.
Roll up and cut off 3/4-inch pieces to make 16 to 20 cinnamon rolls.
