Cinnamon Pear Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
5 cups peeled, cored and sliced pears tossed in 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (about 6 pears)
1 baked 9 inch pie shell
Preparation

For pie, blend together cornstarch, sugars, cinnamon, and allspice in large mixing bowl.
Add pears with any accumulated liquid.
Toss gently and pour in pie shell.
For topping, blend together ingredients and cut butter into mixture until it resembles a very course meal.
Cover pie with streusel.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
