Apple Custard Squares - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 3/4 c. Rice Chex
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten
16 oz. vanilla yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. unpared, chopped apples
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and Chex crumbs.
Remove 1 1/2 cups.
Set aside. Press remaining mixture firmly into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon.
In another bowl, combine vanilla yogurt and vanilla. Add to flour mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in apples.
Pour over crust. Bake 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
Reduce oven to 350\u00b0.
Bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
