Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. corn syrup
    2 c. sugar
    2 15 oz. cans sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add corn syrup and sugar.
    Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add 1 1/2
    cans of sweetened condensed milk. Mix flour with remaining 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk.
    Add to sugar mixture.
    Boil until hard boil, 255 degrees on a candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla and pour into buttered dish (15 x 10 x 2).
    Let cool then cut into 1 inch squares and wrap individually.
