All American Lamburger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean fresh ground lamb
    1 c. (8 oz. can) tomato sauce
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. minced onion
    3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1 tsp. seasoned pepper
    8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
    8 lettuce leaves
    2 red onions, sliced into rings
    16 tomato slices
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine ground lamb, tomato sauce, oats, basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
    Mix until all ingredients are blended.
    Shape into 8 (1/2-inch thick) patties.
