Apple-Pecan Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 lb. apples, peeled, cored and sliced
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 to 1/2 c. honey
1/2 tsp. cardamom
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1/3 c. whole wheat pastry flour
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Freeze or pour into prepared pie shells and bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Makes filling for two 9-inch pies.
Keeps for 6 months frozen.
