Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or oleo
    3/4 c. flour
    dash of salt
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. sliced peaches (fresh or canned), drained
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix peaches with 1 cup of the sugar.
    Melt butter in the dish you will use to bake your cobbler.\tBlend remaining cup of sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Pour over the melted butter. Do not stir.
    Put peaches on top.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until crust is golden brown.
    They will rise during baking.
