Gertrude'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. molasses
    2 tsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine molasses, butter and sugar.
    Add salt and spices; stir together.
    Add egg and milk.
    Sift together soda and flour, then add to mixture.
    Pour into greased tin.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
