Cranberry Glazed Baked Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large baking apples, cored (pare 1/3 down from top)
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. cranberry juice cocktail
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Place apples in baking dish.
Combine 1 1/4 cups sugar, juice and water in saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Pour over apples.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes or until apples are tender.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
