Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
2 c. raw peanuts
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup and water until it crackles in cold water, then add salt, peanuts and butter.
Cook and stir until syrup browns lightly.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda; stir and pour in 2 heaps on buttered containers.
I use pizza pans to pour candy on.
Measure all ingredients in advance.
