Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. cornstarch
pinch of salt
red food coloring
1 small box strawberry jello
1 pt. strawberries
1 baked pie shell
Cool Whip

Preparation

Mix sugar, water, cornstarch and salt; cook until clear. Remove from heat.
Add food coloring and strawberry jello to mixture.
Stir well; cool.
Place strawberries into baked pie shell.
Pour mixture over berries; cool.
Top with Cool Whip before serving.
