Slop Over Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 egg
    milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Put melted butter in a cup, add egg and add milk until it slops over the top of the cup.
    Add to dry ingredients and beat well.
    Turn into 2 greased 8-inch pans and bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
