George Strait'S Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of sugar
    3 to 4 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
    hot water
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add just enough hot water to make a wet dough (not too light and not too stiff).
    Shape dough into small meat ball size rolls.
    On a floured surface, roll the balls very thin (about 1/8-inch thick).
    Cook on hot skillet, brushed with vegetable oil, turning to brown both sides.
