Lime Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chopped head lettuce
    1 c. hot water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Mix jello with boiling water.
    Add cold water.
    Cool until it begins to set, then add chopped lettuce.
    Let stand in refrigerator until firm.
    This is so simple I very seldom remember to make it.
    Excellent to serve with meat dishes because it is so refreshing.
