Em'S Roasted Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    young chicken (about 3 lb.)
    mixture of spices (dashes of cinnamon, cloves, cayenne, thyme, marjoram, curry, rosemary, salt and pepper)
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 stalk celery, diced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 carrot, sliced
    1 sweet potato, peeled and sliced
    1 white potato, peeled and sliced
    slices of orange and lemon
    1/2 c. white wine
    parsley
Preparation
    Wash and dry chicken.
    Sprinkle inside and out with spice mixture.
    Stuff vegetables in cavity; add remainder around chicken in pot and place sliced fruits on top of bird.
    Add wine, cover pan and roast in 350\u00b0 oven until done, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Allow to stand 10 or 15 minutes.
    Serves 3 or 4.
