Irish Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. oil
6 garlic cloves, minced
8 c. beef broth
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. dried thyme
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 bay leaves
2 Tbsp. butter (1/4 stick)
7 c. peeled, cubed potatoes
1 large onion, chopped
2 c. cubed carrots
2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation

Heat oil in large pot over medium-high heat.
Add beef and saute until well browned on all sides.
Add garlic and saute 1 minute.
Add beef broth, tomato paste, sugar, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves and parsley.
Stir to combine. Bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
