Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leaf lettuce, cut in small pieces
    2 ribs chopped celery, chopped fine
    1 whole bell pepper
    10 or 15 tops green onion or 1 whole
    1 can LeSueur peas, drained
    1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    fried bacon, crumbled
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Lay
    in
    layers
    the leaf lettuce, chopped celery, bell pepper and
    green
    onion, then peas.
    Mix together the mayonnaise and sugar;
    put on top of peas, then top with bacon and grated cheese.
