Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 c. chopped onion (large)
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans
Preparation
    Brown meat in heavy skillet.
    Break up with spoon or fork as it cooks.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Cook until soft.
    Add tomatoes, salt, cloves, chili powder and paprika.
    Cover; simmer 2 hours.
    Add hot water to keep from thickening (if necessary).
    Add beans; heat thoroughly for 10 minutes.
    Cover; refrigerate.
    Heat before serving.
