Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Cream together\tbutter (or other shortening) and sugar. Add egg.
    Measure and sift flour and spices.
    Combine molasses and hot water.
    To\tfirst
    mixture, add dry ingredients alternately with liquid.
    Beat
    after
    each addition until smooth. Bake in paper lined cupcake pan in a 350\u00b0 oven until done.
