Buffet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes (6 medium)
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1 small onion, chopped
    3/4 c. shredded sharp processed cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. half and half
Preparation
    Wash and peel potatoes.
    Cut into lengthwise strips 1/4 to 3/8-inch wide.
    Arrange potatoes in greased 2-quart casserole in three layers, topping each layer with dash of pepper and 1/3 each of the salt, parsley, onion and cheese.
    Dot with butter and pour half and half over potatoes.
    Cover and cook in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes or in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Uncover and cook until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes longer.
