Apple Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium apples, peeled and chopped fine
1 c. nuts, cut medium
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 sticks butter or margarine
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Beat eggs until light and add to mixture.
Add apples and nuts.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture.
Pour into an approximate 10 x 13-inch size pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
Cool in pan and cut into squares.
Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
