Polish Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. small curd creamed cottage cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 c. cooked, mashed potatoes
4 to 5 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients together in mixer on medium speed and then finish by hand.
Add flour, working with wooden spoon and then with hands, until about 4 1/2 cups are added.
Break off apple-size (small) chunks of dough.
Flour hands and start rolling dough between hands to form a rope, then cut off pieces with a paring knife about 1-inch long, dropping them onto a floured cookie sheet.
Then flour hands and proceed to roll each of these pieces between palms of hands to look like \"little fingers.\" Place these on a floured cookie sheet.
Continue with the rest of the dough.
