Hearty Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 c. canned tomatoes, drained and chopped (reserve liquid)
    1 3/4 c. cooked kidney beans, drained (reserve liquid)
    2 tsp. chili powder
    3/4 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
Preparation
    In large skillet, cook beef and onions until brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Combine tomatoes and bean liquid.
    Add water to make 1 cup. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, liquid mixture, chili powder and macaroni to skillet.
    Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes.
    Add water as necessary.
    Serves 4.
