Zwieback - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 pkg. yeast
    8 c. flour
Preparation
    Melt butter in warm milk.
    Add sugar, salt and yeast, dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Add flour to make a soft dough. Knead until dough is velvety and elastic.
    Let rise until double in size.
    Punch down and let rise again until double.
    Form dough into small balls, placing one on top of another.
    Let raise until almost double and bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes about 2 dozen.
