Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    4 c. sugar (I use 3)
    4 (6 oz.) cans frozen orange juice
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    juice of 2 lemons or 4 Tbsp.
    5 to 6 mashed bananas
    3 qt. 7-Up, ginger ale or Sprite
Preparation
    Mix water and sugar; cook to make syrup for 3 minutes.
    Let cool and add orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon and bananas. Freeze.
    Remove from freezer 2 hours before serving.
    Slush with a potato masher.
    Add 7-Up or other beverage just before serving. Makes 5 quarts.
